Cape York Peninsula is a large remote peninsula located in Far North Queensland at the tip of the state of Queensland, Australia, the largest unspoiled wilderness in northern Australia and one of the last remaining wilderness areas on Earth.
Located near the tip of Cape York, we have the unique opportunity to fish three different areas:
The west coast of Cape York, the Torres Strait and the east coast of Cape York.
We fish some of the most pristine rivers, coastline, and nearby coral fringed islands.
Cape York offers anglers the opportunity to chase some of the world’s best sports fishing species including Baramundi, Mangrove Jack, Spanish Mackerel, Grey Mackerel, Mackerel-Tuna, Long Tail Tuna, Coral Trout, Queen fish, Giant Trevaly, Golden Trevaly, Fingermark, Cobia, threadfin Salmon and much more, all in one location!

The Jardine River:
Pristine, fresh water flowing all year round, the Jardine River is an icon for Cape York.
Some of the species targeted are Baramundi, Mangrove Jack, Saratoga …
This area also produces great fishing at the mouth.
The Coastline of Cape York from the East to the West:
Each year the migration of bait fish brings schools of different species of pelagic such as Tuna, Trevally, Mackerel, Queen Fish, Cobia… and it all happens within only a few miles from the shore along the coastline of Cape York.
The Torres Strait Islands:
The Torres Strait is sprinkled with coral fringed islands and islets providing blue water sports fishing action and bottom fishing action. The target species includes: Giant trevally, Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, Queen fish, Coral Trout, Finger Mark, Rock Cod, Nannygai, Jewfish…
The Tip of Cape York & East Coast area:
Exposed to the relentless Trades Winds, the east coast of Cape York has some spectacular scenery to offer. Cliffs and high rock structures are the prominent features of the coastal formations providing some great blue water sport fishing action.
